COVID-19 Safety & Health 

Dear Loyal Customers,

 

At Kamila Beauty Studio, your health and safety are my priority.

 

This guide explains how my studio uses precautionary practices during the pandemic to keep clients and myself safe and healthy. 

 

In the wake of Covid-19, to alleviate any anxiety or hesitation you may have about your upcoming appointments, I have implemented different measures and policies.

 

Because of my mission, I take every precaution to ensure that my studio is the cleanest, and most thoroughly disinfected to be safe for your visit.

 

Hence, I have my new temporary KBS policy supersedes my existing KBS policy that I invite you to read.

 

Please kindly be aware that all clients must agree to the COVID-19 terms of our KBS Policy prior to being served.

In addition to implementing strictly state guidelines and CDC recommendations, I am certified by Barbicide® for COVID-19.

 

The Barbicide® COVID-19 Certification is the Beauty Industry Professional standard dedicated to infection control in salons, spas, and barbershops. Barbicide® is approved by the EPA for efficacy against Human Coronavirus, including COVID-19. 

 

Today more than ever, my commitment to the highest standards of safety, wellness, and cleanliness is my utmost priority. I implement every possible measure to limit the risks of contamination and cross-contamination.

Health & Safety Precautions to Keep You Safe 

As long as COVID-19 remains a threat, I have implemented the following health & safety measures to mitigate any risk to spread the virus:

​

  • If I feel sick or fall ill, I will stay at home and contact you to reschedule your appointment for a later date after self-quarantining myself

​

  • I wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
     

  • I will check my temperature before the beginning of the appointment using a contactless thermometer. If I develop a fever over 100 degrees Fahrenheit during a business day, I will do my utmost to inform you immediately and reschedule your appointment for a later date.​

  • As always, the bed and any touchpoint are cleaned and disinfected before and after every client. Touchpoints include the table, bed, chairs covers, doorknobs, handles, switches, desk, furniture, sink, and other frequent-contact surfaces are cleaned after each client.

​

  • I take 30 minutes between each appointment to clean and disinfect all my tools and sanitize surfaces. All surfaces are cleaned with EPA-approved cleaners including 99% alcohol solution and Cavi and Barbicide® wipes. As part of my standard protocol, all tools used during appointments are disinfected. Therefore, I will be temporarily limiting the number of daily appointments to be able to clean and disinfect thoroughly the studio.

  • All my materials are either single-use and disposable, or materials that can be re-used when cleaned and disinfected like tweezers and scissors using EPA-approved cleaning and disinfecting solutions, and wipes to kill viruses, germs, and bacteria.

​

  • All used disposable items are bagged in a touchless lined trash can.

​

  • I have temporarily discontinued the blanket service. Please remember that I keep the room fairly cold to help with the adhesives I use. Therefore, dress up warmly enough or bring your own blanket.

​

  • I will accept credit cards Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Android Pay, and Samsung Pay. All services are payable using contactless payment methods. I will momentarily not accept cash payments.

​

  • I have introduced a more flexible cancellation policy to provide you with the grace you need if you’re not feeling well or fell sick. Please read the new temporary KBS Policy.

Before any access to the studio, I kindly ask you

​

  • If you are experiencing symptoms such as fever, dry cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, loss of sense of taste or smell, and/or runny nose to please reschedule your appointment until symptoms have completely disappeared.

​

  • If you have been to an area impacted by COVID-19 or have been in close contact with a person infected with COVID-19, please kindly reschedule your appointment for 14 days past the date of contact.

  • Your temperature will be checked before entering the studio at the beginning of the appointment using a contactless thermometer. If you have a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, the appointment will be rescheduled.

​

  • You are kindly requested to wear a mask, hair bonnet, gloves, and shoe covers before entering the studio and during the appointment. All of these can be provided at the Studio.

​

  • Please remember that I keep the room fairly cold to help with the adhesives I use. Hence, you are invited to bring your own blanket or dress up accordingly.

  • Before each appointment, you will be kindly requested to wash and sanitize your hands before entering the studio.

​

  • The number of people in the studio is temporarily limited to you and me. Hence, I will not accept any additional guests in the studio including children.

​

  • Please do not bring food or drinks inside the studio.

  • If you arrive at your appointment early, please remain in your vehicle until your scheduled time. You will receive a text or a call when I am ready to welcome you in the safest conditions possible.

​

  • To limit contacts, I will not accept cash payments momentarily and thank you for your understanding. I offer the flexibility of different payment methods to stay as safe as possible. I offer contactless payment and accept Credit Cards, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Android Pay, and Samsung Pay.

As the situation evolves, I will continue to monitor closely and follow the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the state of Pennsylvania. 

 

I heartfully encourage you to do the same. Information is essential during a sanitary crisis. Therefore, stay informed, and know the warning signs, be proactive, and stay safe.
