Kamila Beauty Studio Policy
In these unprecedented times of the COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic, first, refer to our COVID-19 Safety statement. All COVID-19 Statement Updates will supersede Kamila Beauty Studio (KBS) Policies listed below.
Please read carefully. No appointment can be made without accepting our Policy. Thank you for your understanding.
Updated COVID-19 Policy
Please read and sign the COVID-19 online form before your appointment.
If you are experiencing symptoms such as fever, dry cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, loss of sense of taste or smell, and/or runny nose to please reschedule your appointment until symptoms have completely disappeared.
If you have been to an area impacted by COVID-19 or have been in close contact with a person infected with COVID-19, please kindly reschedule your appointment for 14 days past the date of contact.
Your temperature will be checked before entering the studio at the beginning of the appointment using a contactless thermometer. If you have a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, the appointment will be rescheduled.
You are kindly requested to wear a mask, hair bonnet, gloves, and shoe covers before entering the studio and during the appointment. All of these can be provided at the Studio.
Before each appointment, you will be kindly requested to wash and sanitize your hands before entering the studio.
The number of people in the studio is temporarily limited to the client and the stylist. No additional guests will be accepted in the studio including children.
Please do not bring food or drinks inside the studio.
If you arrive at your appointment early, please remain in your vehicle until your scheduled time. You will receive a text or a call when I am ready to welcome you in the safest conditions possible.
To limit contacts, Kamila Beauty Studio will not accept cash payments momentarily. We offer the flexibility of different payment methods to stay as safe as possible. I offer contactless payment and accept Credit Cards, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Android Pay, and Samsung Pay.
Kamila Beauty Studio Policy
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time and your service is shortened due to your late arrival, you will still be charged the full cost of the service.
If it is your first time at Kamila Beauty Studio, please arrive at least 15 min before the scheduled time so we can chat about your expectations, and you will have to fill out and sign some paperwork.
As a courtesy, Kamila Beauty Studio offers appointment reminders through text/email and/or phone. You will get a confirmation reminder 24-48 hrs prior to your appointment. It is ultimately your responsibility to remember your scheduled appointments.
Sickness or family emergency
If you, or another person in your household, have an infectious or contagious illness, please contact us Kamila Beauty Studio as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. For yours, mine, and other clients' safety, please do not come to your appointments sick. If it is assumed you are currently sick, your appointment may be cut short or canceled and rescheduled for when you are healthy again. A one-time allowance of a last-minute cancellation or reschedule will be permitted for sickness or family emergency. After that, the cancellation and no show policy is in effect.
Cancellation & No-show
A minimum of 24 BUSINESS hours notice must be given to cancel appointments. If an appointment is canceled within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged 100% of your service as a cancellation fee. If you no-show on your appointment, you will be charged 100% of your service as a no show fee, and future appointments may need to be prepaid at the discretion of Kamila Beauty Studio. If you cancel within 24h or no show more than 2 times you may be not able to book future appointments at Kamila Beauty Studio. All clients will be allowed one flex cancellation to use at their discretion, a note will be added to your file and the cancellation fee will be waived. Once your flex cancellation has been used up, future exceptions will no longer be made.
Should you choose not to pay your cancellation or no-show fee, your profile will be frozen, you will not be able to re-schedule your appointment, and any future appointments that you have with KBS will be considered canceled until payment has been received in full.
By agreeing to our booking/cancellation policy, you authorize Kamila Beauty Studio to charge your credit card on file per the cancellation policy. Due to this policy, I require a valid credit/debit card at the time of scheduling your appointment to hold your reserved appointment time. This is not your deposit. Your card WILL NOT BE CHARGED. It holds your card info so it can be charged a cancellation fee if necessary.
Eyelash Extensions Appointments
All appointments are held on an appointment-only basis. I charge a specific service fee for the allotted time and service. How full your lashes will look at the end of your fill appointment will be greatly affected by how many lashes you have when you arrive for your appointment. Please, keep this in mind when determining how long to wait to schedule your fills, as I require all lash clients to return every 2-3 weeks (sometimes sooner depending on how fast your natural lashes grow and how well you maintain them in between fills).
If you have been rough on your lashes in between fills and have lost more than normal, additional time may be needed at an ADDITIONAL COST. Please, contact me prior to your appointment, if this is the case, to allow adjustment of time.
Being on time and having clean lashes ensures you get the maximum time for lash application, every minute counts with eyelash applications. Unfortunately, additional time can not be given to clients who arrive late to their appointment or arrive with dirty lashes (ie: liquid eyeliner, mascara, goopy/sleepy eyes). A light cleansing comes with each service but is only meant to quickly prep lashes. Any extra time spent cleaning your lashes will be taking away from time that could be spent adding lashes. Removal of makeup is subject to a $10 fee.
Arriving on time for your lash appointment is important to ensure your treatment time is not shortened, as we need to stay on time. Do not drink coffee, tea, or caffeine-based products before arriving for your lash appointment as doing so will make you fidgety and increase your need to use the restroom. You will not be able to get up to use the restroom once your eyes are closed and application has begun.
If you wear contact lenses bring your glasses. You will not be able to wear contacts during the application.
Other Artist work
If you currently have eyelash extensions on from another lash artist, there may be the possibility that your current extensions will need to be removed and put back on properly. Due to the unregulated nature of eyelash extension training, certifications, and state board regulations, there are a lot of lash artists that have been improperly trained and at Kamila Beauty Studio, my priority is your natural lash health and eye safety. Thus, if you are coming in for a fill from another lash artist, then you agree that your current extensions may need to be removed and a new full set will be applied at the appropriate full set price. This will be discussed and fully explained to you prior to any service being performed. I recommend scheduling 15min appointment for consultation prior to your actual fill appointment. We can discuss options then.
Additional Guests and Children
Kamila Beauty Studio is a small private studio that comfortably fits the client and artist. Unless you are a parent accompanying a minor for a service, please do not bring extra guests with you who are not being serviced. In the event that you do, your guests will be asked to wait outside while you receive your service. If you arrive with your children without prior discussion with me your treatment may be refused with full cost owing.
No refunds will be given for any reason on services or products. If you are unhappy with a service, you may contact me within 72 hours of your appointment to discuss your concerns and if a fix can be done to address your concerns, it will be done so with a complimentary 30 minute express fill for lash extensions if it is at the fault of application or product, and corresponding corrective measures for all other services ie. Lash Lift, Waxing, & Tinting. Any concerns addressed after 72 hours of your last appointment, or if you failed to follow the proper aftercare instructions, will be charged at full price for the service.
Full payment is required after each finished service at the salon. It will be required even if the client arrives late for an appointment. I'm taking credit cards, cash (please have exact amount prepared), or Venmo payments (If paying by e-transfer, your transfer and password must be received prior to you leaving the studio).
In case of no payment made after service you are not able to book any future appointment at Kamila Beauty Studio
The most important step in caring for your lash extensions is cleansing your lash line daily with a foaming oil-free cleanser. A build-up of makeup & natural oil will not only cause your lash extensions to fall off prematurely but can also cause infection and damaged natural lashes. Cleansing your lash extensions will actually make them wear better & longer, and more importantly – keep your hair follicles happy & healthy. If your lash extensions are not being cleaned properly, Kamila Beauty Studio reserves the right to refuse service.
NOTE: Any reaction to eyelash extensions is not foreseeable by Kamila Beauty Studio (or even by you). All care is taken to ensure your safety by reviewing any possible contraindications, such as an allergy. No refunds will be issued for reactions, however, Kamila Beauty Studio will offer a complimentary lash removal when this unfortunate event occurs. I kindly ask that you contact me immediately if you become aware of any type of irritation so I may assist you as quickly as possible.
Also please be aware you need to have at least 40 % of extensions left (after cleaning performed) to be considered as a fill appointment.
Not following aftercare instructions or/and personal health issues will affect on how extensions will last. Please consider it when booking your appointment time.
